Youngsters invited to recreate Harry Potter magic at workshops

CHILDREN can recreate their favourite scenes from the Harry Potter franchise as part of the many activities during February half-term put on by the Wildcats Theatre School.

Children aged between five and 16 can take part in the events, which will take place in the Cresset Theatre later this month.

On Tuesday, February 14 there is a I-Carly film making day, and on Thursday, February 16, there will be a special Harry Potter themed day.

Wildcats Theatre’s creative director Caz Dolby will be overseeing the event that will turn The Cresset into Hogwarts.

She said: “We will be doing script work from the films and you will be able to play the roles of your favourite characters.

“The i-Carly event will give them the chance to make chat shows, and do an interview that we will film for a podcast and put onto YouTube.

“Both events should be a lot of fun and we are excited about them. Hopefully lots of people can attend.”

Wildcats Theatre are an award-winning school based in Peterborough, Stamford Oakham and Uppingham.

They offer weekly classes, education workshops, children’s parties, holiday programmes and family events.

Both the i-Carly film making day and Harry Potter themed day run from 9.15am until 4pm, with drop off from 9am and pick up until 4.30pm.

The cost for each full day is £18.50 and it can be booked by sending an email to admin@wildcats-uk.com or on the website, which can be found at to ww.wildcatstheatreschool.co.uk.
