Oundle School pupils on French culture trip

CULTURE-LOVING students hopped on the Eurostar for a flying visit to Paris.

Oundle School sent 14 youngsters to the French capital to learn about the art and history of the romantic city.

Pupil Marcus Turner (18) said: “On more than one occasion, pragmatic members of the public attached themselves to our group in order to take advantage of free history lessons.”

The group, led by history and art teachers, visited the internationally renowned Musée d’Orsay with its stunning collection of impressionist paintings, the Château de Fontainbleau and Les Invalides.
