New governors are appointed at school

A PAIR of new governors have been appointed at Highlees Primary School.

The school on Ashton Road, Westwood, Peterborough, has had both recommendations for the new governors approved by Peterborough City Council.

The new governors will be Elaine Hedgecock and Steve Whitley. Both were given the authority’s consent on January 13.

Subject to the council’s call-in mechanism, they will take up their positions on January 20.
