THERE was plenty of community spirit on show at the township’s annual autumn fair.
Hampton Autumn Fair was held in Falcon Way, Hampton Vale, last Saturday.
There were a number of community stalls and activities set up to entertain the whole family.
Dozens of residents showed up to the fair, which is now in its third year, and took advantage of early autumn sunshine.
The fair included a variety of stalls from a number of different community groups, including police and Hampton Parish Council.
There were also plenty of activities for younger residents to get involved in and a selection of homemade refreshments were also popular during the day.
Organiser Richard Lock said the event had been a real success and added that there had been plenty of positive comments from both stall holders and visitors.
He said: “It went really well and we have had some great feedback from stall holders and attendees.
“The weather obviously helped enormously with the sun coming out when we opened and all afternoon.”
The fair was first held in 2008 to try and boost community spirit in Hampton.
