BABY sign language – a system that helps babies communicate their thoughts, wants and needs while developing language skills – will be demonstrated at Bretton Library tomorrow, from 2pm to 2.30pm.
Baby signing also gives an insight into the world of babies and stimulates intellectual and emotional development.
It encourages parent and child inter-action while building a baby's self-esteem and confidence.
The session welcomes families wit
h children of all ages to join in the singing and hand-clapping fun.

Plants a-plenty at charity sale
PANSIES, primroses and other flowers will be available to buy at a charity plant sale in Netherton.
The event, to be held on Saturday, September 20, starts at 10am and finishes at 2pm, at 162 Atherstone Avenue.
Organiser Maureen Cousins said the event was being held for the Children's Liver Disease Foundation to say thank you for the help received when her grand-daughter, Sally Bird (13), had to have a liver transplant.
Mrs Cousins said: "All the money raised from the sale of the plants and home-made jams and pickles will go to this worthwhile course.
"We hope people will come along and support us."
Make a booking to donate blood
BOOKING is required if you would like to give blood at the next donor sessions in Longthorpe.
The appointment-only day will be held by Sue Ryder Care Thorpe Hall Hospice, Thorpe Road, on Tuesday, September 23.
The morning session runs from 9.45am to 12.15pm and the afternoon session from 2pm to 4.15pm.
Discover how to dance in line
LINE dancing enthusiasts can put there best foot forward at new beginners' classes.
They are being held at The Pyramid Community Centre, in Watergall, Bretton, on Friday evenings.
The evening kicks off at 7.30pm and costs just £2.50 to dance and have fun.
Organisers say it is an excellent way to exercise body and mind.
