THERE are only a few spaces left for the annual yoga day which will be held at Sue Ryder Care Thorpe Hall Hospice next month.
For the third year running, one of the UK's leading yoga teachers is coming to the Longthorpe venue to offer a rare opportunity for people to take part in a special form of yoga.
Angela Thompson, from Essex, will be joining local yoga teacher Hele
na del Pino at the event to raise funds for the hospice.
Yoga instructors will be guiding participants of all abilities at the event on Saturday, March 1 which will include stretching, meditation and relaxation.
Helena said: "I am so pleased yoga day is continuing after the success of previous years. It is lovely to see how many people get involved and really enjoy the relaxing day."
No experience is necessary to attend the day as it will be tailored to suit all abilities, including those with chronic health problems.
The event will last from 10am until 4.15pm and will cost £22.50 if booked in advance.
Any places available on the day will be £25. Places will be limited and as last year was a sell-out, it is advisable to book early. It is open to men and women aged over 18.
Participants are asked to bring a mat and cushion and a "bring and share" lunch.
Last year's yoga day raised more than £1,000 for Thorpe Hall Hospice.
