A Peterborough church is staging a musical to help boost its appeal to restore its Victorian organ.
After months of raising money, the organ restoration committee at Paston All Saints' Church has been able to book the work in to begin next autumn.

It needs £18,000 and has raised £10,000 so far.

Committee member Steve Cutts said: "There is still some way to go before we reach our financial target, but we hope that the concert will help us to get nearer to our goal.

"If you were married, christened at, or have had any contact with Paston All Saints' Church over the years, we invite you to join us at the Gilbert and Sullivan concert.

"We need your help."

The Wandering Minstrels present the Magic of Gilbert and Sullivan on Saturday, October 11, at 7.30pm.

Tickets, costing £10, are on sale by calling 01733 575102 or from Haircare, Mountsteven Avenue.
