THE majority of pupils sitting GCSEs will be able to progress to their first choice at Post 16 – after notching up a better pass rate than last year.
More than half - 53 per cent - gained five or more A* to C grades - up on 46 per cent last year.
Top performers included Scott Luland and Jessica Kelly.
David McPartlin, principal of the Werrington based school said: "I am equally pleased that many other pupils performed exceptionally well to meet or surpass their own targets.
They, too, achieved their full potential."
