SOME of the biggest names in spoken word will be performing at the Glass Onion later this month for the November Speakeasy event.
The monthly session has attracted some of the biggest names in British poetry this year, and this month will again see top national acts performing alongside some of Peterborough's finest.

The headline act on Wednesday November 25 will be Excentral Tempest.

The New Cross-based hip-hop MC has already performed at several festivals this year, and has received rave reviews throughout her career.

Also on the set list will be Scunthorpe-born poet John Osborne, who is set to have his first book published next year, and Spliff Richard.

Completing the line up will be Steve Walker, the house poet at King Knuts Comedy Club, based in Peterborough.

The night starts at 8pm, with tickets costing £5 on the door.
