A CHRISTMAS Bazaar will be held this weekend in Parnwell.
The Bazaar which will be held on Saturday, November 20 from noon to 3pm at the Community House, Whittington, Parnwell, Peterborough.
The Parnwell Knitting Club will be there selling thei
r knitting, there will be hand-made cards and jewellery and recycled kids toys and clothes.
Part of the proceeds raised from the sale of toys and clothes will go back into the Community House Committee to help put on activities for the Parnwell children in the future.
Cemetery's friends to meetTHE ANNUAL Meeting of the Friends of Broadway Cemetery will take place at St Mark's Church Hall, in Lincoln Road, at 7:30pm on Thursday, December 4.
After the short business meeting, there will be mince pies, coffee and entertainment and a raffle will be held to raise funds for the Friends.

Partnership's get-togetherTHE ANNUAL meeting of the Millfield and New England Regeneration Partnership will be held on Tuesday December 2 at 7pm.
The meeting will take place at the Salvation Army Citadel, in Bourges Boulevard.
Anyone who lives in, or works for the benefit of the area is welcome to attend. There will be an election for a vacancy on the executive committee which is open to residents of the area.
Charity needs more volunteersTHE annual meeting of the Peterborough Association for the Blind will take place this week.
The meeting will take place on Friday, November 21, at 11.30am, at the Resource Centre in the Parnwell Centre.
This year the charity is celebrating its 95th anniversary and needs more volunteers to help run a number of activities to help blind and partially-sighted people in the city.

Learn a martial art to get fitA SELF-defence class is running in the area every week.
The judo club runs each Thursday at the Peterborough Football Association Youth and Community Centre, in Chestnut Avenue, Dogsthorpe, from 6pm.
