Urban regeneration company Opportunity Peterborough is scouring the UK to fill three new posts to help put into operation ambitious plans that will see 25,000 new homes built and 20,000 jobs created in Peterborough between now and 2021.
The senior
of the three posts is that of development manager, which carries an annual salary of between £40,000 and £50,000.
Opportunity Peterborough is also looking for a senior regeneration officer with a salary of between £28,000 and £35,000, and a regeneration officer, who will be paid £18,000 to £25,000.
Chief executive of Opportunity Peterborough Steve Compton said: "Our business plan for this year has set ambitious, yet realistic, targets for Opportunity Peterborough to deliver, and we are growing to ensure that these are successfully achieved.
"We have already seen the launch of the Eco Innovation Centre, and are now preparing to start work on the ground with a team that has a proven track record for delivery.
"As Peterborough's growth and regeneration moves from the planning phase into delivery, the city's urban regeneration company is itself growing to ensure the renewal continues to be delivered the right way.
Mr Compton added: "Now we want to appoint three regeneration delivery professionals with skills to complement the company's dynamic team of regeneration experts to work on major projects that are being brought forward in the forthcoming years."
The first project the Opportunity Peterborough team will be delivering is the transformation of the city's centre public realm to enhance the streets and open spaces.
The strategy to guide this work is to be launched at the end of this month, and detailed designs will be consulted on during the summer, for work to start before Christmas.
