MP Shailesh Vara's visit to K2 Care Ltd provided K2 with the opportunity to showcase its unique and innovative community-based projects, as well as the domiciliary care provision.
Mr vara, who represents North West Cambridgeshire, expressed his appreciation and admiration for the work carried out, and stated his desire to support K2 Care to achieve its goals and expansion.

"We would like to express our gratitude to Mr Vara for taking the time to visit, the interest shown and his pledge of ongoing support," said Saqib Rehman of K2.

Mr Vara, who met staff and toured the premises, said: "I am always pleased to visit local businesses that put so much into our local economy."

K2 Care Ltd is a provider of care services for people with learning disabilities and physical disability, providing care in private homes, day care centres and supporting clients in the community.

"K2 Care is also involved in setting up and running various comunity groups, such as English for Speakers of Other Languages classes, multi-cultural awareness training to professionals.

K2 care is part of the K2 group of companies which includes K2 recruitment, an ethical labour provider supporting the local food industry, providing services throughout Peterborough and Cambridgeshire.
