AMID the economic doom and gloom of the last few weeks, an employment law specialist firm brings some good cheer.
Stamford-based PJH law has been listed as a finalist in the Law Society Excellence Awards 2008 in the category of Excellence in Client Service.

“This is a national award for law firms, and we will be up against the big city names, and so are thrilled to get to the finalist stage,” said partner Sarah King.

“I entered the firm in the awards, and the entries have been whittled down to the last seven.”

The awards will be presented at a gala dinner at Old Billingsgate in London on October 23, when PJH Law will find out whether or not it has won.

The award says: “This award will highlight excellence in client care and innovative approaches to maintaining and developing client-focused services.

“The judges will look for practices that demonstrate a leading edge commitment to client care and examples of real efforts in going the extra mile for a diverse range of clients.”

sarah added: “Clearly, we are thrilled to be a finalist in these prestigious awards.

“This is a reflection of the mission statement of the firm, ‘to exceed our clients’ expectations in the delivery of employment law services’.”

The firm is soon to launch some new iniatives, and it is aiming for IIP status this year, too.
