CITY manufacturer of composition leather E-Leather Ltd has tripled its upholstery colour range to 48 bespoke shades.
The extended colour range now includes the more traditional darker leather colours, such as black, charcoal, taupe, clay, oak and ash, alongside more modern vibrant colours, including scarlet, orange, magenta, lavender and plum.

E-Leather products are manufactured using natural leather waste, and come in both standard and flame-retardant grades.

The material is supplied in rolls, which results in only a five per cent cutting wastage, compared to up to 40 per cent wastage for natural hides.

These products can also be customised to feature a wide range of grain patterns to suit the customer.

Managing director Doug Hacking said: “We have been growing our product base consistently over the last two years, so it seemed a logical step to increase our colour range.”

E-leather Ltd distributes its unique material to the footwear, upholstery, leathergoods and transport sectors, including aviation, railways and automotive. It has a network of agents and distributors across the world.
