WHITTLESEY-based car insurer Young Marmalade has been congratulated in the House of Commons.
Last Thursday, an Early Day Motion was tabled and stated: “This House congratulates Young Marmalade, a member of the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety, for its pioneering safer car and insurance scheme, and notes that new drivers who take up the scheme are three times less likely to be involved in a crash.

“Furthermore (it) is pleased to learn that Young Marmalade is linking up with the Road Safety Unit at Staffordshire County Council to support and invest in additional training for new drivers in the county.”

It is very rare for a private company to receive such a public accolade from the House.
