The outstanding achievements of Stamford employment law firm PJH Law have been recognised by the Law Society in its annual Excellence Awards.
Emma Kirby and Linda Harris, on behalf of the firm, were presented with the award by TV presenter Kirsty Wark and Law Society president Paul Marsh.
Mr Marsh said he was “extremely impressed” by the high standard of entries.
PJH Law was a winner in the category of Excellence in Client Service. The judges were impressed by PJH Law’s commitment to innovative approaches for ensuring excellence in client service was achieved.
Mr Marsh said: “The standard of entries received for the second annual excellence awards has been superb and reflects the high level of innovation that exists across the legal profession. The process of selecting the shortlist was extensive due to the vast number of entries this year.
“Judging these awards was a real privilege and all the short- listed entries should be extremely proud of their achievement. These winners have made the promotion of best practice an integral part of their work.
“In the judges’ view, what set PJH Law Solicitors apart was the extent to which it went the extra mile for its clients.
“Examples of the firm’s innovative services include client training facilities, online educational tools, and an employment law e-wizard and blog to provide up-to-date information – together with offering an annual retainer with discounted rates.
“The extensive feedback surveys showed just how effective this was – a superb example to any firm of how a genuinely proactive approach to client care reaps rewards.
“We can all benefit by recognising and learning from the achievements of the leaders and innovators in our profession.”
Philip Hyland, from PJH Law, said that “the award was recognition of the team’s hard work and creative approach to service delivery. It was particularly appropriate that the two employees at the sharp end of client contact collected the award on behalf of the firm.”
