PRINT and design specialist Kall Kwik Peterborough plans to expand its service with the purchase of a franchise in Huntingdon.
To support the new venture, the Huntingdon business will
be relocated from the High Street to modern offices at Ermine Business Park, just outside the town.
Stephen Loasby, managing director of Kall Kwik Peterborough, said: "The business model we have created in Peterborough has proved highly successful.
"Our design-to-delivery service has been developing over the past few years and has led to strong growth for Kall Kwik Peterborough.
"Companies find considerable benefit in working with a supplier that has so many related skills. We were therefore keen to take the model to other areas.
"When the Huntingdon franchise came up for sale, it presented an opportunity too good to miss."
The new Kall Kwik Huntingdon branch will be located at
Unit 1, Avro Court, and will transfer there in mid-June. Initially, two new jobs will be created to support existing clients in the area and new customers as they come on board. Further investment is also planned for new digital printing and design equipment.
Mr Loasby added: "The Huntingdon franchise has a solid customer base and my first priority will be getting to meet them and ensuring that our relocation does not inconvenience them.
"From there, Huntingdon offers us huge opportunity for growth. I intend that the new
centre will provide a centre of expertise in design, client service, technical support and digital print."
Peterborough is one of the UK's leading Kall Kwik centres and currently employs 10 people. It provides a range of services under its design-to-delivery promise, including design, digital and lithographic print, oversize print, finishing services and direct mail.
