If you want to do business with more than 700 businesses in just one day then you need to be exhibiting at Business Focus 2008, the area's largest business-to-business exhibition.
However, you will need to book your exhibition stand very quickly as more than half the stands are already sold.
Business Focus takes place on Wednesday, October 8, 2008, from 9am to 5pm, at the Holiday Inn Peterborough West.It is a yearly event in the local business calendar and sells out well in advance year on year.
Each year has got better and better as far as exhibitors are concerned, with many of them booking for the following year as the exhibition closes. Exhibitors come from a much wider area than Greater Peterborough, which demonstrates that it is definitely the place to do business; and for the last three years Business Focus has boasted a waiting list of exhibitors.
City MP Stewart Jackson confirmed the stature of the event when he said: "Business Focus is now a key event in Greater Peterborough's business calendar.
"It provides exhibitors and visitors with an ideal opportunity to work on their business rather than in it for the day, which is a must for every proactive business."
In addition to exhibitors returning year on year, so do sponsors and this year sees the return of Luminus Group for the third year running as the main sponsor. All the other exhibition hall sponsors are also back and include Hedley 2000, Peterborough City Council in conjunction with Opportunity Peterborough, Business Link East and Queensgate Limited Partnership, a joint venture between the Hammerson UK Properties plc and Morley Fund Management. O'Briens Peterborough is this year's new sponsor.
Business Focus 2008 is jointly organised by The Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce and Industry, The Business Club, Peterborough's 106.8 Lite FM, The Evening Telegraph, The Holiday Inn Peterborough West and W2 Consultancy, the event co-ordinators.
