CITY lettings firm Kenneally Property Services (KPS Ltd) has acquired a substantial lettings property portfolio from Savills (L&P) Ltd, following its decision to withdraw from the lettings market in Peterborough.
However, it will be business as usual for KPS Ltd owner Deborah Kenneally who, along with the portfolio, has taken on the existing Savills lettings team with who she previously worked.
Director and head of Savills’ Lettings Jane Ingram said: “Debo
rah is absolutely the right person to take on the lettings portfolio and continue the excellent service she has delivered for Savills in the past.
“We wish her and her team all the best with the new company.”
Working alongside Deborah will be lettings property manager Tara Wing and lettings negotiator and administrator Lisa Gould, both of whom gained valuable experience at Savills.
Deborah said: “I have an excellent team and we will continue to deliver a top quality service to our landlords and tenants.
“I am also keen to expand our property portfolio and invite existing, or potential, landlords to contact me for an informal discussion.”
Deborah brings sound experience in the residential lettings industry with Dickens Watts and Dade and then Savills, and also has a background of retail and customer services management and is keen to ensure all clients receive a personal, friendly and efficient service.
She will oversee all aspects of the business, but will primarily focus on new business, business development and sales.
Deborah is an individual director member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) and has gained ARLA 1 Foundation Level and ARLA 11 Advanced Level certificates, and Financial Planning Certificates FPC1 and FPC2.
Tara is responsible for all aspects of the maintenance of tenanted properties, including regular property inspections and the processing of contractors’ invoices.
She has been working with Deborah since 2005 and has brought to the business sound negotiating abilities, a commitment to good customer service and a “can do” attitude with clients.
Tara has recently gained her ARLA 1 Foundation Level certificate and has become an individual member of ARLA.
She has supported the smooth management of more than 100 properties while maintaining a good working relationship with tenants, landlords and contractors.
Lisa joined the team in 2007, and her responsibilities include recording contact details of all potential tenants, organising and completing viewings with prospective tenants, negotiating and drawing up offers between tenants and landlords, and agreeing contracts.
She is committed to providing good customer service, and is keen to develop her sales techniques.
She has a degree in psychology from Hull University and has recently attended a study course for ARLA 1 Foundation Level certificate.
