Furniture giant Ikea has extended its relationship with contract catering company 7 Day Catering, with the award of a new contract in respect of Ikea's Peterborough distribution centre.
The all-new facilities integrate manned catering and vending, and have been designed to service the requirements of nearly 600 staff; working days, evenings and weekends.

Ikea sets great store in its catering facilities.

Ikea’s Graham Hyde is delighted with 7 Day Catering’s achievements.

He said: “7 Day Catering has been operating for some time at our distribution centre in Thrapston, and its results in that location have been outstanding.

“I was confident that the company could match that performance here and that’s why I appointed it.”
