A GROUP of architects is expanding its operations with the opening of a new base in Peterborough.
Kemp Muir Wealleans (KMW) and Stefan Zins Associates (SZA), who as sister practices have for many years worked in and around London, have set up premises in Broadway.

The office is led by newly-appointed directors Derek Robinson and John King, who have both held senior positions in other architectural practices in Peterborough for a number of years.

Mr Robinson said: “We look to combine imagination, technical ability and an understanding of what is achievable, both in commercial and town planning terms.

“With our pedigree for sustainable design reaching back for more than 25 years, the experience we bring will be of benefit to the Peterborough market, and help towards achieving the city’s ambition of attaining Environment Capital status in the UK.

“We believe our new office has a really bright future, both in bringing tangible benefits to Peterborough itself, and in providing relevant, high-quality and sustainable architectural services to clients across the Midlands and East Anglia, and beyond.”

SZA specialises in the design of residential projects and are the architects appointed for the design of the homes planned for Peterborough’s Fengate site, where Bellwinch Homes is currently building the first phase.

KMW specialises in a range of non-residential projects in the office, retail, leisure, education and industrial sectors.
