ThE Peterborough franchise of recruitment specialist Driver Hire has just been appointed first choice supplier of temporary workforce to the local depot of the GAP Group, the UK's largest independent tool and plant hire company.
Driver Hire is a local supplier of workforce to the road transport and logistics industry.

If a client is short of a driver or other member of staff, due to holidays or sickness, they simply phone Driver Hire Peterborough which provides them with a suitable replacement, on a temporary or permanent basis.

“We were selected on cost and quality of service,” said Ged Sanderson, the franchisee at Peterborough who worked with Driver Hire’s national accounts team to win the business.

“In the main, we will be supplying GAP with drivers, but we may also be asked to cover for warehouse and other staff too.”

GAP Group’s Fiona Cole said: “We chose to work with Driver Hire because it gives us the comfort of knowing that all our depots are using a compliant and reputable supplier for their temporary workforce needs.”
