Steadman fourth in the heats in Beijing

PARALYMPICS: Sawtry swimmer Lauren Steadman finished fourth in her heat of the S9 100m freestyle in Beijing this morning.
She recorded 68.46 seconds but did not progress to the final.

Market Deeping's Rob Welbourn finished sixth in 63.41 in his heats of the S10 100m butterfly, the first of five events he will tackle. Tomorrow Welbourn goes in the 100m freestyle while his best hope for a medal comes in the 400m freestyle which starts next Monday.
