The Anglian Water Four Man Loch Style match at Rutland Water was a great success, fishing to a rod average of 7.48.
Jim Watts from Ryhall was the top individual rod recording the best fish, a 5lb 1oz rainbow. Watts was a member of Team Anglian, the winning four man team. Watts' catch consisted of eight rainbows for 23lb 12oz.

The average size of the fish was close to 2lb 8oz and the conditions impressed those that took part.

Result: 1 Team Anglian 32 fish for 81lb 12oz; 2 A.C.A. Rio Masters 32 fish for 80lb 8oz; 3 Team Loop 30 fish for 77lb 2oz.

TROUT fishing at Elinor Fishery has been very good of late with bank and boat anglers still having great top of the water sport.

Sport is also very good at Ringstead Grange and you can now start an evening ticket from noon, which together with a boat for £18.50 is cracking value.
