TYDD Gote AC moved onto the Black Dyke section for last weekend's club match which saw Bob Fitzjohn out in front.
He fished white maggot on the pole to finish with 8lb 10oz.

Andy Greenwood came close with 8lb 6oz followed by Mick Asker on 7lb 15oz.

Sunday's match will be fished on the Main Road section with the draw at noon.

KEV Lee seems to have perfected the pellet and paste approach at several of our local waters.

In the weekend's Fenland Rods match at Fields End Water Fishery he scooped first place with ease on his favourite method finishing on 90lb 8oz.

Runner-up was Neil Garner with 67lb 5oz of carp taken on the waggler followed by Dave Garner on 42lb 5oz and John Smith with a level 34lb.

IT turned out to be a very patchy weekend all over the area with several waters not fishing anywhere near as well as expected.

The Deeping St James anglers were looking forward to some fine silver fish action at Kingsland Fishery but it just didn't happen for them.

Winner of the Exeter Trophy was Graham Wright, who took a net of skimmers and chub weighing in 8lb 14oz. Runner-up was Russell Hole on 8lb 4oz followed by Andy Fisher with 7lb 12oz.
