The subeditors are a newsroom tribe which generally remain hidden from the public. But they agreed to waive their anonymity for today's feature.
Head of the tribe is Duncan Jackson, who is in charge of designing the pages, putting the stories and pictures on the pages, and making sure there are no mistakes in the copy. So if you find any mistakes in this article, it's Duncan's fault, not mine.

Other members of the tribe include James Young (a former Marine) and Charlie Brown (not of Peanuts fame).

Intriguingly, the subs are always hungry, like baboons in a zoo.
